Tarentaalkop on the doorstep to Etosha

Piet en MarianaFrom its lookout tower a distant, hazy view of the hills in the Etosha National Park can be seen. This famous landmark for the farming community in the surroundings is Tarentaalkop, on the recently opened guest farm that Piet and Mariana Gouws named after the guinea fowl that abound there.

Tarentaal Guest Farm is situated 35 km from the southern gate of the Etosha National Park and is an ideal place to stay for visitors to the park. Farming for more than ten years in the area, the young couple, Pieter and Mariana Gouws, also wants guests to experience the feeling of a real Namibian working farm.

Tarentaal Guest Farm has 6 rooms plus one guide room, modishly decorated in African safari-style, adjoin an open dining room where meals are enjoyed with a panoramic view of the surroundings. Above the room an open-air tower room, where sundowners are served at sunset, affords a beautiful view of the surrounding African bushveld.
